Ahmedabad Gets India’s First Liquid Cooling Validation Lab
Ahmedabad-based precision liquid cooling technology company KühlTherm has launched India’s first integrated liquid cooling Testing and Verification Laboratory along with two indigenous cooling solutions—the Rear Door Heat Exchanger (RDHx) and Cooling Distribution Unit (CDU)—designed for AI-driven data centres. The company says the new products will be integrated with its proprietary NexusFlow OS, an AI-powered thermal intelligence platform that optimises power and cooling from the electrical grid to the server rack.
Indigenous Innovation for AI Infrastructure
The newly launched RDHx removes heat directly from the rear of server racks before it spreads through the facility, while the CDU manages coolant flow, temperature and pressure for efficient liquid cooling. Together with NexusFlow OS, the technologies provide predictive monitoring, intelligent optimisation and automated control across data centre cooling infrastructure.
State-of-the-Art Lab to Ensure Reliability
The integrated testing and validation laboratory in Ahmedabad is the first of its kind in India. According to the company, the facility will simulate real-world operating conditions to validate product performance before deployment, ensuring higher reliability, quality assurance and customer confidence.

Made-in-India Manufacturing Push
KühlTherm designs and manufactures complete thermal management solutions for AI data centres—from chip to chiller—within India. The latest launch supports the company’s expansion plans to increase its manufacturing capacity from 300 MW to 2 GW by 2027, strengthening India’s position in advanced thermal management technologies.
Meeting the Cooling Demands of AI
As artificial intelligence, high-performance computing and GPU-intensive workloads continue to grow, traditional air cooling is increasingly proving inadequate. KühlTherm’s liquid cooling systems are engineered for Indian operating conditions, including high temperatures, grid fluctuations and local infrastructure challenges, helping improve energy efficiency, reduce thermal throttling and enable large-scale AI computing. The company recently raised US$1.1 million in seed funding, led by Arkam Ventures, to accelerate the expansion of its liquid cooling solutions.
