1. India’s forex reserves hit a record $729.33 billion
India’s foreign exchange reserves jumped $12.42 billion in a week to a new record of $729.33 billion as of August 21, supported by strong foreign-currency inflows.
2. Sensex rebounds 331 points; Nifty back above 24,150
Indian equities recovered on Friday after two sessions of losses. The Sensex gained 331 points to 77,264, while the Nifty rose about 85 points to 24,176, led by technology stocks.

8. ESDS Software Solution IPO opens with ₹720-crore issue
ESDS Software Solution’s public issue opened on August 28 with a price band of ₹408–429 per share. The company is seeking to raise about ₹720 crore.
9. Annu Projects IPO crosses 2.9 times subscription
The ₹94–99-per-share IPO of Annu Projects was subscribed 2.93 times as bidding entered its final day on August 28.
10. AI begins reshaping India’s D2C logistics
Logistics technology companies including ClickPost, Shiprocket, Unicommerce and Zippee are deploying AI for customer communication, courier allocation and last-mile operations, with reported reductions in return-to-origin rates of up to 20%.
