National Business News Highlights
1. NSE set for September 24 market debut
The National Stock Exchange will make its much-awaited stock-market debut on September 24 after its ₹22,562-crore IPO was subscribed nearly six times. The shares are scheduled to trade on both BSE and MSEI.
2. Spinny confidentially files for IPO
Used-car marketplace Spinny, operated by Valuedrive Technologies, has confidentially filed draft IPO papers with SEBI. The company has not yet disclosed the proposed issue size or timeline.
3. India’s private-sector activity rebounds in September
HSBC Flash Composite PMI rose to 56.5 in September from 54.3 in August, indicating a stronger expansion in private-sector business activity. Manufacturing recorded a particularly strong improvement.
4. S&P raises India FY27 growth forecast to 7%
S&P Global Ratings raised its FY27 real GDP growth forecast for India to 7% from 6.6%, citing industrial activity, consumption, goods exports and government investment.
5. Sensex gains 299 points; Nifty crosses 23,400

8. Jindal Supreme debuts at 31% premium
Jindal Supreme shares made a strong market debut, listing at ₹121.90 on BSE, a 31.08% premium to its ₹93 issue price. The ₹125-crore IPO comprised fresh shares and an offer for sale.
9. Zoho launches AI platform for businesses
Indian software company Zoho launched Zia Chat, a unified AI interface for businesses, alongside seven industry-specific applications as it expands into vertical SaaS solutions.
10. Lohum plans major expansion in critical minerals
Gujarat-based critical-minerals producer Lohum is looking to acquire nickel mines in Indonesia and the Philippines. It aims to increase annual nickel production from about 1,000 tonnes to 10,000 tonnes and plans to raise ₹3,000 crore through equity and debt.
