1. India’s economy grows a stronger-than-expected 7.8%
India’s GDP grew 7.8% year-on-year in Q1 FY27 (April–June), significantly above market expectations. Investment and manufacturing were among the key drivers, reinforcing India’s position as one of the world’s fastest-growing major economies.
2. Private investment emerges as a stronger growth engine
