28 students from Gujarat among selected beneficiaries under the Hormis Memorial Foundation Scholarship Programme

Federal Bank has announced the results of the Federal Bank Hormis Memorial Foundation Scholarships for the academic year 2025–26, with 500 meritorious and financially disadvantaged students from seven states selected for financial assistance. Among the awardees are 28 students from Gujarat, highlighting the state’s strong representation in the scholarship programme.

The list of selected candidates has been published on the bank’s official website. The scholarship programme, launched in 2005 in memory of Federal Bank’s visionary founder, Late K.P. Hormis, is one of the bank’s flagship Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives aimed at supporting deserving students pursuing professional education.

The scholarship covers students enrolled in full-time professional courses such as MBBS, BE/BTech/BArch, BSc Nursing, BSc Agriculture, BDS, BVSc, and MBA/PGDM.

Over the years, the initiative has supported 2,460 students across the country, helping them build careers in critical sectors. For the academic year 2025–26, the bank received 3,610 applications from Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

Federal Bank said the programme reflects its continued commitment to promoting inclusive education and empowering talented students through financial support, enabling them to pursue higher education and contribute meaningfully to society.
