Gujarat Emerges as a Key Hub for Next-Generation Renewable Manufacturing with INOXGFL Facilities Launch
Ahmedabad, December 18, 2025: In a significant step towards strengthening India’s clean energy manufacturing base, the Deputy Chief Minister of Gujarat, Harsh Sanghavi, on Thursday inaugurated Inox Solar’s state-of-the-art solar module manufacturing facility and Inox Wind’s nacelle and hub manufacturing plant near Ahmedabad. The twin inaugurations mark a major milestone in the INOXGFL Group’s renewable energy expansion and align with India’s target of achieving 500 GW of non-fossil fuel capacity by 2030.
Inox Solar Commissions First Phase of 3GW Facility at Bavla
Inox Solar Limited commissioned the first phase of its 3GW fully automated solar module manufacturing facility at Bavla, near Ahmedabad. The advanced plant is designed to manufacture next-generation N-type TOPCon solar modules using M10R and G12R solar cells. These bi-facial modules offer higher efficiency, lower degradation and superior reliability, enabling dual-sided power generation and improved capacity utilisation factors (CUF), thereby enhancing overall energy output.

Inox Wind Inaugurates 1.2 GW Nacelle and Hub Manufacturing Plant
The Dy Chief Minister also inaugurated Inox Wind’s nacelle and hub manufacturing facility at Kalyangarh, near Ahmedabad, with an annual capacity of 1.2 GW. Approved by the National Institute of Wind Energy (NIWE), the facility will manufacture nacelles and hubs for Inox Wind’s advanced 3 MW class turbines and its upcoming 4X MW class turbines. Strategically located, the plant offers improved logistical access to renewable energy project sites across western and southern India, reducing transportation time and execution timelines.
Gujarat Reinforces Leadership in Clean Energy Transition
Addressing the gathering, Harsh Sanghavi said Gujarat continues to lead India’s renewable energy transition under the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji. He noted that such world-class facilities strengthen domestic manufacturing, promote technological leadership and enhance national energy security. He further highlighted that the two plants will create over 2,000 direct and indirect employment opportunities, positively impacting local communities.
INOXGFL Group Expands Integrated Renewable Portfolio
INOXGFL Group, one of India’s most integrated renewable energy players, operates across the entire clean energy value chain including wind manufacturing (Inox Wind), solar manufacturing (Inox Solar), EPC services (Inox Renewable Solutions), operations and maintenance (Inox Green), advanced battery materials (GFCL EV) and power generation (Inox Neo Energies).

Ambitious Growth Plans in Solar and Wind
Commenting on the inaugurations, Devansh Jain thanked the Government of India and the Government of Gujarat for enabling policy support and promoting domestic manufacturing. He said the new nacelle and hub facility will enable Inox Wind to expand its technological offerings to 4X MW class turbines and strengthen its footprint across western and southern India. Highlighting the Group’s solar ambitions, he stated that Inox Solar aims to achieve a cumulative capacity of 11 GW of solar module and 8 GW of solar cell manufacturing by FY27, potentially generating annual revenues exceeding Rs 20,000 crore. With this expansion, consolidated revenues of Inox Clean are expected to scale to around Rs 30,000 crore by FY28.
Strengthening India’s Aatmanirbhar Clean Energy Vision
The inauguration of these advanced manufacturing facilities underscores INOXGFL Group’s commitment to India’s aatmanirbhar clean energy vision, positioning Gujarat as a key hub for next-generation renewable energy manufacturing and innovation.
