₹875-crore IPO to comprise fresh issue and offer for sale

Karamtara Engineering Limited will open its initial public offering (IPO) for subscription on Wednesday, September 9, 2026. The issue will close on Friday, September 11, 2026, while the anchor investor bidding will take place on September 8.
The company has fixed the IPO price band at ₹241–254 per equity share, with a face value of ₹10 per share.
₹8,750 Million Offer Size
The total offer comprises up to 36,307,052 equity shares, aggregating up to ₹8,750 million (₹875 crore).
The IPO consists of:
- Fresh Issue: Up to ₹675 crore
- Offer for Sale (OFS): Up to ₹200 crore
- The OFS comprises shares worth up to ₹100 crore each from Tanveer Singh and Rajiv Singh.
The company had also undertaken a pre-IPO placement of Compulsorily Convertible Preference Shares (CCPS) aggregating ₹75 crore. The amount raised through the pre-IPO placement was adjusted against the fresh issue, subject to applicable regulatory requirements.

Investors Can Bid for a Minimum of 59 Shares
Investors can bid for a minimum of 59 equity shares, and thereafter in multiples of 59 shares.
At the upper price band of ₹254, the minimum bid would amount to ₹14,986, before applicable charges.
Shares to List on BSE and NSE
The equity shares offered through the IPO are proposed to be listed on both the BSE and NSE, with NSE designated as the stock exchange for the issue.
The IPO is being conducted through the Book Building Process under the applicable SEBI regulations.
QIBs to Get Up to 50% of the Offer
Not more than 50% of the offer will be available for allocation to Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBs).
Up to 60% of the QIB portion may be allocated to Anchor Investors. The issue also provides for:
- Not less than 15% of the offer for Non-Institutional Bidders (NIIs)
- Not less than 35% for Retail Individual Bidders
All eligible bidders, other than Anchor Investors, are required to participate through the ASBA process, with UPI applicable to UPI bidders.
JM Financial, ICICI Securities and IIFL Capital Services Lead the Issue
JM Financial Limited, ICICI Securities Limited and IIFL Capital Services Limited are the Book Running Lead Managers to the IPO.
