Punjab National Bank (PNB), the country’s second-largest nationalised bank, organised a focused MSME Outreach Program on Monday at the Gujarat Chamber of Commerce & Industry (GCCI), strengthening its engagement with the state’s growing industrial community. The bank, which operates more than 300 branches across Gujarat, brought together MSME entrepreneurs, industry leaders and banking representatives under one platform.
The program was inaugurated by PNB Executive Director D. Surendran and Ahmedabad Zonal Manager Vinish Kumar Chawla, who reiterated the bank’s strong commitment to supporting Gujarat’s MSME ecosystem.
Speaking at the event, ED Surendran highlighted PNB’s ongoing efforts to increase credit access for MSMEs, streamline digital processes, and provide handholding support for new and existing entrepreneurs. He noted that MSMEs were key to India’s economic growth, and PNB remained deeply invested in accelerating their development.
Echoing the sentiment, Chawla remarked that Gujarat continues to be a high-priority growth region for PNB. He assured that the bank would continue offering customer-centric solutions and innovative financial products designed specifically for MSMEs, enabling businesses to scale efficiently.
The outreach program featured interactive sessions on government-linked schemes, credit products, digital banking platforms, and tailor-made financial solutions addressing the evolving needs of small and medium enterprises. Participants appreciated the bank’s proactive approach and its willingness to understand challenges faced by local businesses.
Through the initiative, PNB reaffirmed its commitment to nurturing entrepreneurship, promoting innovation, and contributing to inclusive economic development in Gujarat, strengthening its position as a trusted financial partner to the MSME sector.
A strong PNB team, led by Executive Director D. Surendran and Ahmedabad Zonal Manager Vinish Kumar Chawla, along with Deputy Circle Head Rajesh Chaudhary and H. T. Solanki, Assistant Director, Ministry of MSME, guided and engaged with a large number of MSME representatives who were present and actively interacted during the session.
