TVS Motor Company has strengthened its presence in Ahmedabad with the inauguration of M/s Tirusai Autolink, its third authorised dealership in the city, expanding access to its passenger and cargo three-wheeler portfolio in one of Gujarat’s important commercial and mobility markets.
The new dealership, promoted by Piyush Kumar Rameshbhai Patel, is located on Vishwakarma College Road in the Motera-Chandkheda area and has been set up to provide customers with an integrated sales and service experience. The facility showcases TVS Motor’s range of passenger and cargo three-wheelers and is aimed at meeting the mobility and livelihood requirements of commercial vehicle owners across Ahmedabad and surrounding markets.

Speaking at the inauguration, Rajat Gupta, Business Head – Commercial Mobility Business, TVS Motor Company, said, “Ahmedabad is an important market for TVS Motor Company, and the inauguration of M/s Tirusai Autolink further strengthens our commitment to serving customers across the city. With this being our third dealership in Ahmedabad, we are expanding accessibility to our comprehensive commercial mobility portfolio while ensuring a superior sales and service experience. We are delighted to partner with M/s Tirusai Autolink and look forward to delivering reliable, innovative and customer-centric mobility solutions to customers in the region.”
Strong growth in three-wheelers
The dealership expansion comes at a time when TVS Motor’s three-wheeler business is witnessing strong growth. The company sold 67,000 three-wheelers in the first quarter of FY2026-27, registering a 48% year-on-year increase over the 45,000 units sold in Q1 FY2025-26. In June alone, three-wheeler sales rose 51% to 24,586 units, compared with 16,303 units in June 2025.

TVS Motor has an annual three-wheeler production capacity of around 2.4 lakh vehicles and has established itself as a significant player in India’s commercial mobility market, with both passenger and cargo vehicles as well as growing electric mobility offerings.
The company’s momentum is particularly visible in electric three-wheelers. According to Vahan-based retail data reported in early 2026, TVS was the third-largest seller of electric three-wheelers in January, with more than 2,500 units sold, placing it behind the leading players in the rapidly expanding e-3W market.
The broader electric three-wheeler market is also expanding rapidly. India’s electric three-wheeler registrations reached about 8.27 lakh units in FY2025-26, up from 6.99 lakh units in the previous financial year, highlighting the growing shift towards electric last-mile mobility.
Hyundai partnership to bring a new generation of electric three-wheelers
TVS Motor is also preparing for a significant expansion of its electric commercial mobility portfolio through its partnership with Hyundai Motor Company.
In April 2026, the two companies formally signed a Joint Development Agreement to develop and commercialise electric three-wheelers for India and other markets. The partnership builds on an E3W concept showcased at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025.
Under the agreement, Hyundai will lead the vehicle design and contribute its engineering and mobility expertise, while TVS Motor will provide its advanced electric three-wheeler platform, manufacturing capabilities and local market expertise. TVS will also lead local sales, with Indian manufacturing intended to cater to domestic demand and future exports.
The jointly developed vehicle is expected to offer a more contemporary interpretation of the traditional Indian auto-rickshaw, with greater interior space and features such as independent rear suspension and adaptable ground clearance designed to cope with Indian road and weather conditions. The companies have not yet announced an official commercial launch date or final production name for the vehicle.

For TVS, the Hyundai collaboration could therefore become an important next step in its electric three-wheeler strategy, combining TVS’s established commercial-vehicle expertise and electric platform with Hyundai’s global design and engineering capabilities.
Tirusai Autolink focuses on customer-first service
For dealer partner Piyush Kumar Rameshbhai Patel, the new dealership is not merely an expansion of the TVS network but an opportunity to build a service-oriented relationship with commercial vehicle owners.
Patel said his priority would be to serve customers sincerely and ensure that complaints and service-related concerns are addressed quickly. He said he intends to ensure that every customer complaint is attended to within 24 hours, reflecting the importance of uptime for three-wheeler owners.
“I understand that these vehicle owners work extremely hard for their livelihood. Many of them purchase their vehicles on EMI, and for them even one day without the vehicle can mean a significant loss of income. Our responsibility is therefore not only to sell them a vehicle but to support them throughout their ownership. We are committed to serving our customers sincerely and ensuring that their complaints are attended to within 24 hours,” Patel said.
The emphasis on service assumes particular significance in the three-wheeler segment, where the vehicle is often the owner’s principal source of income. A breakdown or prolonged service delay can directly affect daily earnings and the ability to meet loan or household commitments.
TVS Motor currently has 50 dealership touchpoints and 50 service touchpoints across Gujarat, according to the company, and says it is continuing to expand its retail and service network in line with customer needs and market opportunities.
With its third Ahmedabad dealership, strong recent three-wheeler sales and the upcoming Hyundai-TVS electric three-wheeler programme, TVS Motor is seeking to deepen its position in Gujarat’s commercial mobility market while preparing for the next phase of growth in India’s rapidly evolving three-wheeler industry.
TVS Motor Company has expanded its Ahmedabad presence with the inauguration of its third dealership, Tirusai Autolink, led by dealer partner Piyush Patel. Rajat Gupta highlighted Ahmedabad’s importance to TVS’s commercial mobility strategy, while Patel pledged prompt, customer-focused service, including attending to complaints within 24 hours.
