Tata Group company Voltas Limited has strengthened its retail footprint in Gujarat with the launch of its first Company-Owned and Company-Operated (COCO) store in Ahmedabad, marking a significant milestone in its retail expansion strategy.
Located at Shyamal Cross Road in Satellite, the new outlet is designed to offer customers an immersive shopping experience while showcasing the company’s complete range of cooling and home appliance solutions under one roof. The store features an extensive portfolio of Voltas and Voltas Beko products, including air conditioners, air coolers, refrigerators, washing machines, microwaves, dishwashers, commercial refrigeration products, water coolers and water dispensers.
The inauguration was attended by Jayant Balan, Jogesh Jaitley and Nirpesh Agarwal. The Ahmedabad outlet is Voltas’ first COCO store in the city and reflects the company’s focus on enhancing customer engagement in high-growth markets.
Speaking on the occasion, Mukundan Menon said Ahmedabad remains a key market for the company, driven by rising consumer aspirations and increasing demand for premium, smart and energy-efficient home appliances. He noted that the new store will enable customers to experience the brand’s comprehensive product portfolio while benefiting from reliable after-sales support.
Highlighting the strategic importance of the launch, Jayant Balan said Ahmedabad is among the fastest-growing markets for cooling products and home appliances. He added that the COCO format allows Voltas to deliver a consistent brand experience through expert product guidance, live demonstrations and dedicated customer service.
