UK Health Science Brand Brings Personalised Preventive Health Approach to India on World Heart Day

30 Sept 2026

UK-based health science brand Bio-Synergy has officially entered the Indian market with the launch of its DNA + Epigenetics Kit, marking a move towards personalised and preventive healthcare in India.

The product is being marketed and distributed in India by Kynora Life Sciences LLP. The Ahmedabad launch, held on World Heart Day, highlighted the growing focus on understanding individual health risks before they develop into serious conditions.

The launch event brought together Daniel Herman, Founder of Bio-Synergy; Sachin Rana, Strength and Conditioning Coach with Gujarat Titans; Parth Adhyaru, Nutritionist; and Reena Trivedi, Genetic Counsellor at Apollo Hospitals, who discussed the role of advanced testing, nutrition, exercise and preventive healthcare.

Focus on Prevention and Early Risk Identification

The launch comes at a time when metabolic health is emerging as an important area of concern. According to the information cited in the release, a study involving 1,500 apparently healthy young adults in Gujarat found that one in six already had metabolic syndrome, despite having no symptoms to indicate an underlying problem.

The release also cites national data indicating that the prevalence of metabolic syndrome and prediabetes among adults aged 45 years and above is around 30%.

The DNA + Epigenetics Kit is positioned around this period when health risks may have begun to develop but lifestyle changes can still potentially influence the future health trajectory.

Moving Beyond Conventional DNA Testing

Unlike conventional DNA tests, which primarily examine a person’s relatively fixed genetic makeup, Bio-Synergy’s DNA + Epigenetics Kit also examines epigenetic gene methylation.

According to the company, this provides insights into how lifestyle, diet and environmental factors may influence gene expression and biological ageing.

The kit analyses more than 300 bodily markers and provides users with a detailed report containing personalised lifestyle recommendations.

The company says the results are intended to help individuals better understand areas that may require attention and make more informed decisions about nutrition, exercise and other lifestyle factors.

Personalised Approach to Nutrition and Fitness

The launch also highlighted the potential role of personalised information in fitness and nutrition.

Sachin Rana, Strength and Conditioning Coach with Gujarat Titans, said the testing approach could help reduce the reliance on generic fitness programmes by providing insights into how an individual’s own system responds.

Nutritionist Parth Adhyaru highlighted the significance of analysing more than 300 markers, saying that nutrition advice can be tailored more closely to what an individual’s body indicates rather than relying solely on generic recommendations.

Turning Preventive Healthcare into Action

The event featured an expert panel discussion on human longevity and the role of advanced testing in preventive healthcare.

Genetic Counsellor Reena Trivedi of Apollo Hospitals said that testing can provide individuals with evidence about their own health rather than relying only on general health advice.

The broader message of the launch was that preventive healthcare is increasingly moving from periodic health checks towards more individualised understanding of long-term health risks.

More Than 300 Markers and Personalised Recommendations

Bio-Synergy says its kit analyses 300+ markers and combines the findings with personalised lifestyle suggestions.

The company has also developed in-house researched nutraceuticals intended to support metabolic health. According to the release, the nutraceuticals are FSSAI-approved.

The company further states that all user DNA data is kept strictly confidential, an important consideration for consumers using genetic and epigenetic testing services.

Launch Event Brings Together Health and Sports Experts

The Ahmedabad launch was attended by an exclusive audience comprising HNIs, sports personalities and members of the media.

The event began with an expert panel examining longevity and the changing role of advanced testing in preventive healthcare. This was followed by the formal unveiling of the DNA + Epigenetics Kit and interactive product sampling.

Bio-Synergy’s India Entry

Founded in 1997 by Daniel Herman, Bio-Synergy is a UK health science brand built around the principle “Powered by Science.”

The company develops evidence-based nutrition and personalised health solutions and has a history of working with elite athletes and health-conscious consumers.

With its India entry in September 2026, Bio-Synergy is introducing its DNA + Epigenetics Kit, combining genetic and epigenetic analysis of more than 300 markers with personalised guidance and researched nutraceuticals.

The India business is headquartered in Ahmedabad and, according to the company, aims to make preventive and personalised health solutions more accessible to Indian consumers while maintaining strict confidentiality of user data.

A Shift Towards Personalised Preventive Health

The launch represents Bio-Synergy’s entry into India’s growing preventive-health segment, with its approach centred on combining genetic and epigenetic information with lifestyle and nutrition guidance.

The company says the objective is to help individuals understand how factors such as lifestyle, diet and environment may be shaping their long-term health trajectory, with potential applications across cardiovascular health, metabolic wellbeing, sustained energy and healthy ageing.

For Bio-Synergy, the Ahmedabad launch marks the beginning of its India operations and introduces its personalised health-testing approach to Indian consumers.
